Recipient Agreement

Applies when someone shares an ARKshield proof with you.
1.No account required
You do not need an ARKshield account to view a proof shared with you. Share links provide view access to watermarked derivatives of the owner's Content. Whether you can download the images depends on the permission the owner set when creating the link.
2.Watermarks are permanent
Every image you receive is watermarked. Watermarks cannot be removed by recipients and removal is possible only through ARKshield. Attempting to strip, crop out, obscure, or alter a watermark is prohibited and infringes the rights of the Content owner and of ARKshield.
3.Permitted use and redistribution
Use the shared proof for the purpose for which it was sent to you. Do not redistribute, republish, or resell the proof or its images without the owner's permission. Do not present a proof as certifying more than it shows.
4.What a proof shows
A proof presents the facts recorded at capture — time, location where available, and camera direction — plus the capturer's contact details as stored on their profile. It is not a certification, audit, or legal advice, and it is not a guarantee that a proof will be accepted in any court, insurance, or regulatory process.
